Budget an RV upgrade without overlooking the materials

Planner snapshot 3.0.16 · Guide reviewed 21 October 2026 · Unofficial fan guide, not affiliated with Aniimo or its publishers

Use the RV 5 → RV 6 step to distinguish a coin-only estimate from a complete upgrade plan.

BUDGET EXAMPLE · PLANNER 3.0.16

The decision

Your coin balance is increasing, but when can you actually upgrade? The correct answer depends on the slowest required resource and on which facility or component costs you include.

Start with the listed level-step cost

The current data lists RV 5 → RV 6 at 32,000 Home Coins, plus 1,300 Wood Block, 700 Mineral Sand. The preceding RV 4 → RV 5 step costs 7,300 coins, so the next step’s coin bill is about 4.38 times as large. These are the RV step costs, not a budget for every optional new building.

Calculate the remaining coin requirement

For an illustration, assume that you already have 12,000 spendable Home Coins and that your own chosen plan produces 1,000 net coins per productive hour. Those two inputs are a hypothetical budget, not a measured or recommended RV 5 optimum.

Remaining coins = max(0, 32,000 − 12,000) = 20,000
Coin-only time = 20,000 ÷ 1,000 = 20 productive hours

If your net rate is zero or negative, dividing the coin bill by a positive gross sales number would give a misleading timer. Use net income after seed costs, and avoid counting resources already allocated to another goal.

Check the materials separately

The 20-hour figure does not say when 1,300 Wood Block, 700 Mineral Sand will be ready. Wood Blocks and Mineral Sand are upgrade byproducts in the model and have no direct coin sale value. Check the relevant Woodland and Mine production, the material stock you already own, and whether the required facilities are available in your setup.

A complete readiness estimate is governed by the slowest outstanding requirement. Materials that are not reachable in a setup should remain a visible blocker rather than being silently converted into a coin price. A page of coin costs cannot establish an in-game completion time on its own.

Reproduce the budgeting process

  1. Read the exact next step in the RV costs guide.
  2. In the planner, set your real RV and facilities, then enter Owned RV Upgrade Resources.
  3. Compare the Coins goal with Simplest RV Upgrade using the same setup.
  4. Inspect the separate coin and material readiness messages. Check the upgrade-cost window for any newly unlocked facility costs included by the planner.

The standalone guide and the planner can legitimately display different totals if one is the level step and the other includes additional facility upgrades. The included costs should always be explicit; report a mismatch if they are not.
